Telecommunications and Connectivity

Connecting people, places and systems is the starting point of any operation. JOHELMA takes care of that connection - from the office to the most demanding operations in the oil industry, onshore and offshore - and keeps it standing where failure is costly.

From connecting a building to the connectivity of an offshore operation.

Connectivity underpins everything else - the data in transit, the systems that talk to each other and the teams working in different places. The more demanding the operation, the more the connection has to be there at all times.

Applications

Different contexts call for different answers. JOHELMA works from each one to define the right connection.

Presence

Infrastructure of our own in Soyo.

JOHELMA does not only install for others. In the municipality of Soyo, one of the country's energy hubs, it owns and runs a telecommunications station of its own, held as part of its assets, along with a permanent operations base staffed by a technical team on the ground.

From that station it is developing a wireless broadband network, covering the neighbourhoods of Soyo in phases, with expansion planned to the remaining municipalities of Zaire province. The service is aimed at residential customers, businesses and public access areas.
